1. Overview
Clemelopy™ LLC ("Clemelopy," "we," "our," or "us") provides a cloud-based Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform. This Billing & Refund Policy explains how billing, payments, subscriptions, and refunds are handled when you use our Services.
By purchasing a subscription, run pack, or any paid feature, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy, as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Clemelopy does not store, access, or handle your full credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment credentials.
When you make a purchase:
- Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe via their secure, encrypted API.
- Stripe handles all payment authorization, processing, and storage of financial data.
- Clemelopy receives only a confirmation of payment status, a unique transaction ID, and basic billing metadata (such as last four digits of the card and expiration date) for receipt and support purposes.

3. Pricing & Plans
Clemelopy offers several ways to access our GEO tools:
- Run Packs — One-time purchases of a set number of tool runs, with no subscription required.
- Monthly Subscription — Unlimited access to tools for a recurring monthly fee, billed automatically each billing cycle.
Current pricing is displayed on our website and within the application. Pricing is subject to change, as outlined in the Price Changes section below.
4. Beta Pricing & Grandfathering
During our beta and early-access periods, Clemelopy may offer promotional pricing that is lower than our standard rates. This includes discounted subscription and run pack pricing during the beta period.
Users who subscribe or purchase during a beta pricing period will be grandfathered at their beta rate for as long as their subscription remains active and in good standing. If a grandfathered subscription is cancelled and later restarted, the then-current pricing will apply.
Beta pricing guarantee: If you lock in a beta rate, we will honor that rate for the life of your continuous subscription. We believe in rewarding early supporters.
5. Subscription Billing
Monthly subscriptions are billed automatically on the same date each month (your "billing date") based on when you first subscribed. For example, if you subscribe on February 10, your next charge will occur on March 10.
- Subscriptions provide unlimited access to all available GEO tools for the duration of the billing period.
- Your subscription will automatically renew each month until you cancel.
- You will receive an email receipt from Stripe after each successful payment.
- If your billing date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), Stripe will bill on the last day of that month.
6. Run Packs
Run packs are one-time purchases that add a specific number of tool runs to your account. Run packs:
- Do not expire. Purchased runs remain available in your account until used.
- Are non-transferable between accounts.
- Can be purchased at any time, including while an active subscription is in place.
- Are consumed on a first-purchased, first-used basis.
7. Refund Policy
We want you to be satisfied with Clemelopy. Our refund policy is as follows:
7.1 Subscriptions
- You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase if you have not used the platform's tools during that period.
- After 7 days, or if you have used tools during the billing period, subscription fees are non-refundable for that billing cycle.
- Refunds for renewal charges are generally not provided, as you may cancel at any time before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
7.2 Run Packs
- Run pack purchases are non-refundable once any runs from the pack have been used.
- If no runs from a purchased pack have been used, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
7.3 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at support@clemelopy.com with your account email and a brief description of your request. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days.
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method through Stripe. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
7.4 Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, issue refunds or credits outside of the above policy in cases of:
- Service outages or technical issues that prevented you from using tools you paid for.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges.
- Extraordinary circumstances, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings within the Clemelopy application. Upon cancellation:
- You will retain access to subscription features for the remainder of your current billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current period ends.
- Your saved projects, audits, and data will remain accessible in your account. We do not delete your data upon cancellation.
No penalties for cancelling: There are no cancellation fees, early termination charges, or penalties of any kind. You can cancel and come back whenever you like.
9. Failed Payments
If a subscription renewal payment fails (e.g., due to an expired card or insufficient funds):
- Stripe will automatically retry the charge up to 3 times over the following days.
- You will receive email notifications from Stripe about the failed payment.
- During the retry period, your subscription access may continue temporarily at our discretion.
- If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be cancelled and access to paid tools will be suspended until a valid payment method is provided.
- You can update your payment method at any time in your account settings to resolve payment issues.
10. Price Changes
Clemelopy reserves the right to change pricing at any time. If we change our pricing:
- Existing subscribers will be notified via email at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect on their account.
- You will have the option to cancel before the new pricing applies.
- Beta and grandfathered pricing is exempt from general price increases, as described in the Beta Pricing & Grandfathering section.
- New run pack purchases will reflect the current pricing at the time of purchase.
11. Taxes
Prices displayed on Clemelopy may or may not include applicable taxes. Depending on your jurisdiction:
- Sales tax, VAT, or other applicable taxes may be added to your total at checkout.
- Tax calculation and collection are handled by Stripe Tax where applicable.
- You are responsible for any taxes required in your jurisdiction that are not collected by us.
12. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, we encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues quickly and fairly.
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- Temporary suspension of your account while the dispute is under review.
- Additional processing fees that may be passed on to you if the chargeback is found to be unwarranted.
We will cooperate fully with any legitimate dispute resolution process and provide documentation of the transaction to your bank or payment provider as needed.
